Put together a running compression tester using a Chinese transducer, that as given me this,a bit short of what i expected with a very notchy waveform.
Maybe just a rubbish sensor?

I haven't done one for a while but it looks like a scope setting issue I think you may have peak detect turned on,

Seems like a crappy transducer to me. :-( You could experiment with a vacuum/pressure pump, applying steady changes and see if it responds correctly.
