Hi all,
I have a Launch X-431 V+ scan tool.
I hooked it up to a 2009 Nissan Murano to check the ECM.
It gave me a list of abbreviated pid's to choose from. I had no idea what
most of the abbreviations meant.
My question is does anybody know a source that I can go to and decipher the abbreviations?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Dennis

Took a look at Chilton Service Info and found a list of abbreviations under info for your Murano. Please reference attached, might not be all inclusive, but a good start. Wiki also has a good section on OBD II designations driven by SAE requirements, these relate to generic OBD terms, but another good source of info
Hope this helps.

Thank you for taking the time to help. This is my granddaughter's vehicle.
Next time I do any work on the Murano, this list should help.
Thanks,
Dennis
