Voltage step down from up to 26v to 5v was created by Andy.MacFadyen
This was vistited in the old forum for a step down voltage reducer to give 5v volts for testing sensors or powering a home made pressure transducer. I found a tiny low cost voltage converter unit called a Ubec which used by drone and remotely controlled model aircraft builders is almost ideal for the job giving a stable and virtually noise free.
They are available very cheaply on eBay or Amazon and will run off car or truck battery voltage or off of a 9v radio battery.
