Autel IM508

Hi all

I have an Autel IM508 for personal use. I plugged in today after not using it for a few months and it won't read the ECU on my 2019 Kia Stinger. The 1 year subscription has expired but my understanding is that you don't need a subscription to use the scanner.

I have coded in a smart key for my Stinger before and want to code in a new smart key but it just won't read the ECU. Have checked connections etc but no luck.

Any advice?

Try doing an I/M readiness test to see if it can access the ECU that way, then try scanning via OBDII mode
