An expert is someone who knows each time more on each time less, until he finally knows absolutely everything about absolutely nothing.

This little gadget detects magnetic fields in coils, solenoids etc when activated. It is capable to visually indicate the switching of devices like VVT actuators, injectors... It does so without dismantling.

There are probably similar devices from off shore manufacturers available.

You almost tricked me again Juergen! When I changed my country to Mexico, I could wade through the Spanish to get back home (lots of Puerto Rican friends). I might never make it back from Germany!

Noah good news:
When you get lost search/open in your browser ANY product from Amazon.us. It will then ask to shift to amazon.us and you're back in your safe haven
(Ask me how I know)
Right now I'm in Germany, tomorrow will start the Automechanika Frankfurt Exposition, until September 17th. It's a huge event, first time since corona it's in person again.
If there is anything you (or someone else) wanted to know just let me know and I'll try my best.

I have a pen style magnetic dectector and also a similar style electric field detector.
The magnetic field detector is useful for cranking no starts as in addition to working on relays it flashes when the normal style injectors are getting fired
