Crank no Start on my 1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4.0

Looking for a wiring schematic for my 1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport. Dash Check Engine light is not luminated when key is turned on. No Fault codes. Starter turns Engine over but it's not starting. Last time it started the idle was rough and I had to keep the RPM's up or it would shut off.
Found bare wires at the distributor sensor and replaced. need to know how to check voltage now. Thanks in advance KOS

I have schematics for a 97 and 98 Cherokee. (97 are digital, 98 are paper) They all should be the same up to 00 XJs when they change the distributor to a Coil on Plug design. Let me know what schematics (component) you need and I'll get them to you.

Thanks Mike, The digital 97 would be great. I just ordered a new computer unit because of the "check engine" dash light doesn't eliminate when the key is turned on.
Hoping to check by schematic to make sure.
