Does anyone worry about brands of replacement relays?

What with all the junk parts flooding the market, I'm wondering if there are one or two brands of relays I should stick with. Yes, relay's are quite simple, but, I see a lot of junk relays in the electronics world, so, I imagine the same thing is true in the automotive world.

Any suggestions or favorites would be appreciated.

Thanks

You know, I hadn't actually thought about it too much before you asked? :silly: I honestly don't find myself replacing relays all that often any more. Most either don't fail, or are integral to a fuse box and part of an assembly, anyway.

If OE isn't an option, I've had good luck with Intermotor, Wells or SMP.

I've never bought one. Got a bucket full from the junk yard, when they're gone I'll go back and fill it up!

Excellent thought though, I bet there's garbage ones floating around out there.

I tend to salvage relays from every junker I can I have a pile of Bosch style relays sitting ---

I also salvage original manufacturer fuses
