Best all-around scanner/scope? was created by dcoker45
Hi guys, I'm looking for recommendations on an automotive scanner with a scope built into it as I run a mobile mechanic setup. I have an autel scanner already, but looking for a combo to be able to diagnose more advanced problems/being able to get used to a scope.
I know of the Snap On Modis, Verus, Zeus, and Vantage along with Autel's lineup as well as Topdon.
Price does matter, although I'm gonna buy it secondhand anyways.
What are your thoughts or experiences? Thank you!

If you are looking for a scanner with a built-in scope, I would, strongly, suggest picking up a Snap-on Verus or Zeus. They are both a scantool with 4 channel scopes. The MODIS is a scantool with a 2 channel scope. The Vantage is a 2 channel scope, but not a scantool.
The autel scope is not bad, but it is not "built-in".
I do not recommend the Topdon scope.

Okay, I've been leaning towards the Verus or Zeus from what I've seen in videos and research. Thank you for the info!
