Oh boy, doesn't make too much fun to work for a shop that resistant to common sense....then again, if they pay you for that experience.

I was called back to do a theft deterrent relearn. Didn’t fix it. They told customer now they think it might be mechanical. Customer didn’t have any money to fix. Shop ended up buying it to flip. The customer was sold a new pcm ignition switch crank sensor fuse box and battery.
