Are you saying that you can hear lifter/rocker noise?

Valves with too much lash will open late, and close early. Valves that are too tight will open early, and close late.

No it's like missfire lak of fule and it shake's bad , I haven't checked the valve clearance yet but I did check the chain and it had play on it now I don't know if it's the tensioner or what , the vvt is only on the intake side not the exhaust I checked the dowel pin hole and it on the advance side like it's supposed to be I really think the chain needs to be replaced

This is the spec and I did the measurements on the exhaust and intake opening and closing and if if u look at the third box of the measurements u see the cam lobe degrees degrees and the over lap is 7degrees the first one is the exhaust waveform

And the sweet thing about in cylinder pressure transducer is once u get the specs there is no need for dial indicator or a degree wheel and taking of a bunch of stuff

This is were my exhaust needs to open 154 degrees Wich is 26 degrees bbdc and close at 358 Wich is -2 degrees+ -2 degrees Wich equals 204 came lobe. And intake opens at 355 and closes at 591 if u put it on a 360 degree wheel that would be 5 degree btdc and closes at 51dgrees abdc Wich equals 236 cam lobe .and I think is 3 degrees overlap bc -2 and 5= 3 over lap

I'm sorry guys this case study was a year a go but didn't want to leave it open without a fix ,the problem was I didn't analyze the waveform .and the problem was in front of me the whole time it was a tooth missing on the crankshaft signal plate when I was looking at the known good cam and crank I thought it was ok but I missed it .

Well I was wrong and I have the correct signal plate there are two types and there is no way a missing tooth would cause a waveform to look like that don't know what I was thinking ,still think it was timing or cam lobe problem I will never know got rid of the car .sorry for the confusion.
